Fleet Foxes, Greenroom 

In early July we went to the annual Main Square Festival. We bought the three-day pass to see some of our favourite bands on this year’s line-up including the Fleet Foxes, The National, the Arcade Fire and Coldplay.

On the second day we went to see the Fleet Foxes, who played very well. They had some technical difficulties with the acoustics, but they were still very good. The National was also terrific, but the Arcade Fire easily stole the show.

The third day was Coldplay. They played late into the night with a dramatic lightshow. I love concerts, especially festivals. The atmosphere of the Main Square festival now held in the beautiful old citadel of Arras with people from all over the world is incredible.

The National, Main Stage

Cette année au mois juillet au festival annuel, Main Square j’ai assisté aux groupes de musique. Je

trouvais ça excellent. André et moi avons aimé les Fleet Foxes, The National, l’Arcade Fire, et bien sûr Coldplay.

Nous sommes allés le deuxième jour au festival où les Fleet Foxes jouaient très bien. Ils ont eu les difficultés techniques avec la sona mais bien quand même. The National aussi c’était superbe, mais l’Arcade Fire était le clou!

Finalement, le troisième jour nous sommes allés voir Coldplay, qui jouait très tard dans la nuit avec un jeu de lumière magnifique. J’adore les concerts particulièrement les festivals. L'ambiance de ce concert, ce qui s'est déroulé à la belle vieille citadelle d’Arras avec les personnes de toutes nationalités était extraordinaire.
